- Start your bike.
- Turn on the main power for the Ghost Wheels.
- Check to make sure the handlebar switch is down (wheels locked).
- Manually unlock the valves (wheels are still locked electronically).
- Pull away in trike mode. When comfortable, toggle switch up and enjoy two-wheel handling.
- When slowing down, toggle switch down and feel secure.
- Repeat last two steps as needed.
- At the end of your riding, manually lock the valves.
- Turn off Ghost Wheel system.
- Shut off bike.
- Forget about the kickstand.

- Flip the switch up - the hydraulic cylinders unlock the wheels to provide a two wheel ride.
- Flip the switch down - the cylinders lock to provide the stability of a trike.
- Activation of the system is not possible above approximately 18 mph to avoid accidental trike mode.
